She like to say, “if I could figure out my skin, I can figure out anyone’s skin!”. Her skin issues started at an early age, “I remember being the little kid standing in the center of doctors trying to figure out what new skin issues I had. I used to love eating pop rocks candy, but one summer, as the delicious candy popped in my mouth, so did a skin reaction. As I kid, I went from a dermatologist to herbalists who brewed stinky smell drinks that made me gag. When I was in my early teens, my Mum took me to an herbalist in London’s China Town, where an elder gentleman put together some herbs for me to take. Granted, they were the size of horse tranquilizers. Still, they did wonders for my skin till I went to college in the U.S., and the fun started again (I am being very sarcastic; it sucked).
Due to college courses, bad food choices, and not understanding my skin, in general, led me to work at a retail store as a makeup artist, covering my skin flaws and many others. Still, I was sad about the appearance of my skin. I decided to continue my education in fashion design and moved to Los Angeles this where I came upon an awesome couple who sold their handmade soaps. I loved the way my skin looked and changed for the better, they gave me the chance to help them make some of their soaps with them. I was hooked; I found something that worked, but I wanted to learn more about approving my skin and others, so I attended esthetics school. I found out that you really are what you eat when I went to a nutritionist who taught me that what I consume affects my skin and overall health”. Truli Skincare was created to give those who are tired of  trying products that doesn’t address their skins concerns but still want healthy skin from the inside out.
